Sales Coordinator

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Sales Coordinator for the Specialty Beef Brands team that reports to the Corporate Office in Greeley, Colorado. A successful candidate must be able to take the initiative, easily understand the business dynamics, think big picture, have a passion for data, process improvement, and be familiar with business intelligence tools and software. The candidate must have an ability to translate data into answers, understand the uses and needs of information to be able to optimize the supply chain, production, sales and any other relevant task. In addition, the candidate must have very good project management skills, work well within a team dynamic, and know how to prioritize the deliverables !

Responsibilities:

  • Owns Entry and Management of all Specialty Beef Program NPRs and facilitating sample

  • Run Weekly Availability Report and distribute to Outside team

  • Beef analysis - provide accurate, timely, and insightful information and analytics to the business utilizing Business Intelligence solutions.

  • Project management: scope problem statements, provide estimated timelines for solution builds and routine updates throughout project.

  • Build data visualization dashboards utilizing Qlik platform to provide solutions to problem statements established by the business.

  • Generate routine (weekly, monthly) reporting of business performance. Set performance indicators; forecast accuracy, utilization efficiency measurements, order fill rates, key account statistics, inventory age management.

  • Collaborate with Scheduling team on Carcass Utilization, to manage availability and program presentation in system

  • Manage pricing; work with the pricing team to set program overages, develop & publish pricelists, RTC and bid approvals.

  • Provide assistance to multiple teams; including procurement, production, scheduling, pricing, accounting, sales & transportation.

  • Manage supply chain - strategic demand and supply planning.

  • Provide cattle procurement team with needed weekly headcounts to support profitable growth within each program.

  • Perform all other duties as needed or required to maintain and grow profitable business within the assigned account base

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Meat Science, Agribusiness or related area

  • Production planning and inventory management

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Curiosity for the industry and gaining new knowledge

  • Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience

  • Multitasking abilities; able to handle heavy workloads at times

  • Ability to understand the decision making process.

  • Understanding of reporting tools and concepts.

  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

  • Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

  • Base salary range of $65,000-$80,000; and

  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
