Position Summary:

The School-Based team provides comprehensive mental health and substance treatment for students struggling with life's challenges. Located in many schools in school districts throughout Weld County, including but not limited to Greeley/Evans School District 6, Kersey (Weld RE7), Weld Central (RE3J), Fort Lupton (RE8), Johnstown/Milliken (RE5J), Eaton (RE2), High

The Program Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Program Director in the operation and administration of the School-Based team to meet the behavioral health needs of clients, caregivers, and the larger community. The Program Coordinator's responsibilities may include but are not limited to oversight of specialized programming and/or personnel, providing direction and supervision to assigned behavioral health service delivery staff, assisting the Program Director in developing and communicating agency, network, and team visions, and operationalizing strategic goals for area of responsibility, providing therapeutic counseling and case management to clients with mild to severe mental health challenges and/or substance use disorders as assigned.

Duties Performed: Establish, operationalize, and achieve overall program goals and strategies through employee support, which may include, modification of existing program services or creation of new program services to maintain or enhance program standing and to effectively meet the needs of clients and the community as assigned by the Program Director. Collaborate, with the Program Director, to develop comprehensive program policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards. Communicate and support agency-wide and program-specific objectives, policies, and policy changes. Enforce policies and procedures related to employment laws, program guidelines, regulatory compliance, and safety. Analyze data and utilize/prepare a variety of reports to assist with service evaluation, and capacity and in response to state inquiries or regulations concerning assigned program areas; evaluate and verify the accuracy of relevant reporting data. Use data on an ongoing basis in planning, implementation, and review of team members and processes as directed. Assist the Program Director to ensure quality program performance including revenue goals and procedures, documentation standards, regulatory compliance, fidelity measures, and other program performance variables. Assess problem situations to gather and process relevant information, identify causes, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problems proactively and promptly. Consult with the Program Director on complex matters and issues. Support the Program Director by collaborating with colleagues concerning clinical planning, service delivery, and cross-division issues to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the program.
