Qualifications Position Summary: The Facilities Manager directly controls the work of assigned maintenance and janitorial staff by determining the tasks for the unit and the procedures required to accomplish the assigned tasks. Provides leadership and guidance to department staff. As a working manager, the facilities manager will perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled building trades work in the repair, maintenance, or construction of the NRBH facilities throughout Weld County, as well as maintenance equipment and grounds. Additionally, our facilities manager installs and maintains security, climate control, and other facility systems.

Duties Performed: Supervise, coordinate, and perform maintenance activities for all agency facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, fleet vehicles, and general building maintenance. Assist with vendor management and coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as requested by the Facilities Director for approved maintenance projects. Schedule and oversee routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure facilities are safe, clean, and in optimal conditio As assigned, assume responsibilities of Facilities Director during their absence for maintenance and janitorial units. Participate in emergency on-call rotation equally with other maintenance staff and provide snow removal at agency facilities when required. Ensure all facility requests are prioritized and completed in an organized, efficient, and timely manner with a high-quality outcome. Provide day-to-day direction to facilities staff; coordinate staff scheduling and appropriate department coverage for planned and unforeseen needs; enforce standard agency procedures; approve time off and submit timesheets for facility staff. Approve day-to-day purchases up to an approved established level as needed for project completion. Maintain accurate records of maintenance projects, including work orders, preventative maintenance, invoices, maintenance chedules, and employee trainin Serve as facilities expert or agency resource to assigned areas. Respectfully and effectively communicate with the Facilities Director, team members, and agency staff regarding facility needs; demonstrate collaboration and customer service to meet needs. Maintain a professional demeanor and always positively represent the company. Actively recognize company property improvement opportunities, make recommendations to the Facilities Director, as necessary, and ensure appropriate action is taken. Operate trade-related tools and equipment; maintain/assist in accurate inventory of all materials and equipment; educate and instruct team members in the safe usage of tools, equipment, and chemicals. Ensure all company vehicles and tools are maintained in good working order; perform repairs on machines and equipment to maintain proper working conditions; report major concerns to the Facility Director. Read and utilize blueprints, plans, drawings, and sketches to determine the work to be performed and the resources required. Solve technical problems and maintain quality within the area of specialty to include any and/or all of the following: air and water temperatures and their chemical properties; heating, ventilating, and air-conditions systems; walls and related applications; windows and roofing; quality control standards; doors and associated hardware; flooring; electrical; plumbing systems and fixtures; and pneumatic controls. Screen, interview, and hire qualified candidates; use the applicant tracking system to document and communicate appropriately and timely throughout the screening and selection process.
