Contract Length/ Days: (2023-2024/260 Days)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Required: Bachelor's degree and/or combined experience

Summary/Objective: This position is responsible for the operational oversight of school kitchens throughout Greeley-Evans Weld County School District 6 (including Charter Schools). Responsibilities include: employee training, supervision and evaluation; implementation of USDA regulations, departmental and food safety practices; interviewing and hiring; monitoring of kitchen profit and loss and production levels; and overall general support of kitchens and staff.

Essential Functions: School Kitchen & Community Support Conducts regular site visits to ensure sites have the tools and resources needed to successfully complete their jobs and that standard operating procedures are being followed. Provides training as needed to guarantee understanding and compliance with guidelines. Responds to inquiries in a timely manner to assist staff and administration. Uses positive verbal and non-verbal skills at all times when working with district personnel and community members.

High Level Operational Oversight Understands, implements, and monitors USDA, state, local, district, and departmental regulations, policies, and procedures for the Child Nutrition Programs and other programs offered.
