Department Information

The University of Northern Colorado is located in Greeley, Colorado, population over 100,000, an hour's drive north of Denver, and within driving distance of the Rocky Mountains. UNC has an enrollment of over 12,000 students who attend classes on the 250-acre campus, and is large enough to provide true University opportunities, and small enough to treat students and employees as individuals.   • Performs administrative duties such as: document and spreadsheet creation, proofreading, editing, file documentation, office equipment operation.

  • Trains department members on use of office equipment.

  • Secretarial duties during meetings including note taking and document distribution.

  • Prepares reports as requested by leadership.

  • Works with CBORD system to enter inventory, meal counts, and forecasting data.

  • Enters Banner Payroll information for staff twice a month.

  • Delivers bank deposits and mail to various departments on campus.

  • Trains all cashiers on proper Micros register procedures and transactions and tracks staff training.

  • Supplies check stands with proper stock.

  • Responds to customer suggestions.

  • Creates weekly count sheets and monthly invoicing to Weld County Area Agency on Aging and other monthly reporting.

  • Provides coverage for summer conference administrative duties as needed.

  • Assists employees with problems or questions.

  • Confirm with hiring managers that on-boarding has been properly completed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Two years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.

Substitutions:

Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
