In your role as an MRI Technologist, you will float to 4 Banner Health facilities in Greeley, Loveland, and Fort Collins.
Opening: This position is full-time, 32 hours per week with the potential to work 40 hours. It is primarily Monday-Friday, but weekend shifts will be required based on needs.
Shifts at all locations:
North Colorado Medical Center - Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:00pm, 8:30am-5:00pm, 10:00am-6:30pm.
Imaging Services a Department of Banner North Colorado Medical Center (outpatient facility) - Monday- Friday 6:30am-7:00pm
McKee -Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Banner Fort Collins (BFCMC) - Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm
On-Call Requirements: 1 day per week & 1 weekend per month.
NCMC - Monday-Friday 11:00pm-6:30am, Saturday/Sunday 7:00pm-6:30am
McKee/BFCMC - Monday-Friday 5:00pm-8:00pm. Saturday/Sunday 8:00am-8:00pm
Holiday On-Call Requirements: 1 major & 1 minor holiday per year
NCMC - 6:30am-6:30am
McKee/BFCMC - 8:00am-8:00pm
*Must live within 30 minutes of Banner North Colorado Medical Center as an on-call requirement. *
Enjoy a flat rate of $5/hr for call with double time for callback, $2/hour weekend shift differential and $5/hour night shift differential, when applicable.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols. This position ensures optimal care/treatment to patient population.
CORE FUNCTIONS
Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers’ orders. Uses independent judgment and applies learned methodologies according to established policy and procedures.
Educates patients/families regarding procedure and/or treatment to be performed. Demonstrates professional behavior/conduct in all interactions; fosters teamwork, efficient use of resources and quality patient outcomes.
Produces high quality images and prepares/presents them with other pertinent patient information for timely interpretation. Prepares and maintains accurate documentation.
Demonstrates competence in performing prescribed invasive/interventional procedures if applicable in accordance with established policies if applicable.
Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements. Demonstrates the ability to trouble shoot and notifies appropriate personnel to maintain equipment performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors. Adheres to safety policies.
Accountable for the ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities related to the radiology practice. This includes maintaining confidentiality of all work information.
Assures the efficient operation of workflow of the department. Monitors and maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and material to ensure non-interruption of services.
Independently performs prescribed procedures in accordance with department/facility policies, procedures and protocols to patients. Internal customers: All levels of medical imaging and nursing management and staff, medical staff, and all other members of the interdisciplinary health care team. External Customers: regulatory and health agencies, patients and family members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or modality qualified licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT). Licensure by the state regulatory agency, as applicable. Advance certification by accrediting body in MRI required within 18 months of hire. BLS certification required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
