Title and Summary

Senior Analyst, Finance Business Partner

Main Purpose of role

This role will own and manage the relationship with the Vocalink Commercial Product and Portfolio teams to optimize product P&L through management of product revenue streams, cost base and programme investments.

Key accountabilities and duties

• Manage the financial close activities of specific Vocalink products through the analysis of actual results v budget, forecasts, contracts and initiatives in order to provide business driven commentary to the Product & also the Finance management teams

• Work to produce monthly management reporting, KPIs, Opps and Risks and standardised P&Ls for Vocalink products using Hyperion (budgeting and forecasting tool)

• Confidently present financial results and associated insights to all business stakeholder on monthly basis in finance reviews and Vocalink Operating & Portfolio Sub-committees.

• Support the creation of the annual revenue and cost budgets/forecast and loads into Hyperion reporting tool and the development of final Budget presentations to management and Board.

• First point of contact for product business cases and pricing/new business bid support

• Work alongside the business and sourcing team to support commercial analysis, reporting and negotiation on key supplier deals

• Manage and consolidate the reporting and forecasting/planning for UK products portfolio

• Deputise for Finance Manager – this is a highly visible role

• Ensure financial governance with projects and expenditure

• Support Capitalisation, Depreciation and Amortization processes

• Monitor the landscape of competitive products and industry trends, understand their implications for Vocalink and Mastercard from a technology perspective

• Ensure compliance with risk policies and fosters a strong control environment to mitigate risks, liaising where necessary with the key business areas across Mastercard e.g. Controllers, Tax.

Qualifications

Qualified ACCA/ CIMA

Use of Hyperion reporting tool
