Great Neck Public Schools Anticipated Special Education Teaching Assistants (DW) in Great Neck, New York
Hours: Expected hours are: Elementary School: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm Middle School: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm High School: 8:00 am – 2:30 pm
Effective: 2024 - 2025 school year Ten-month position, subject to annual reappointment
Duties: Support teachers and assist special education students. Provide intervention services directly to individual students and in small group settings.
Job Qualifications
Requirements : Applicant MUST be NYS teacher or teaching assistant certified. Minimum of 60 college credits is preferred. ABA experience and experience working with students with autism is highly preferred.
