We are actively searching for a Loan Officer/Mortgage Assistant for our Riverview Branch located in Great Falls, Montana. 1st Liberty FCU is a full service financial institution that offers a wide range of financial services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: You will be assisting members with their account financial lending needs. These duties include, but are not limited to: providing account information, processing various financial transactions, loan applications, interviews, decision making and disbursals, consumer and mortgage lending, assisting members with credit counseling and budgeting, lien filing and releases, cross-selling debt protection, GAP, MBP insurance and matching our members’ needs with the appropriate credit union products/services. Requirements: Business Degree or 2 years lending or business experience Knowledgeable in consumer and mortgage lending practices and regulations Must be able to maintain confidentiality Must be able to effectively cross-sell credit union services and products Excellent listening and written/verbal communication skills Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills Proven team player Proficient knowledge of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
