The Nationally Registered Paramedic (EMT-P) will operate within their licensure from the state of Minnesota as well meet the educational requirements of the National Registery of EMTs.
Follow standing orders and standard operating procedures established by the medical director.
Strive to provide the highest quality of care possible for every patient.
Demonstrate the ability to utilize effective communication with patients, customers and members of the health care team.
Perform duties and functions assigned by the ambulance director.
Demonstrate behaviors which show regard for the dignity and respect of all patients, customers, colleagues and staff as defined by the Avera Granite Falls guidelines.
Respond in an effective and timely manner to emergencies when on duty.
Demonstrate care for all patients as per standing orders and operating procedures.
Initial National Registry EMT-P certification
ACLS, PALS, NRP and CALS certification within one year of hire.
