Job Title: NC Programmer

Job Description

• Develop CNC lathe programs using MasterCam for new parts on three, four, and five axis machines. Experience should include Miyano and Fanuc Control.

• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, printed circuit board pattern films, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.

• Lead other operators within the area.

• Responsible for the efficient setup and production run on several CNC lathes, while maintaining high quality parts from first article inspection through final part inspection.

• Determine the sequence of machine operations and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes.

• Observe machines on trial runs and/or conduct computer simulations to ensure that programs and machinery will function properly.

• Perform preventative maintenance or minor repairs on machines.

Hard Skills

• Experience programming - Miyano and Fanuc Control

• Mastercam programming

• Ability to read blueprints

• Program from scratch and revise existing programs

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grandview, MO.
