Great opportunity for a Surgical Technologist professional to work in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Position Summary for Surgical Technologist, Obstetrical

• Assists the Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) and nursing personnel before, during and after deliveries.

• Inventories, rotates, maintains, and restocks supplies, instruments and equipment in appropriate areas as needed.

• Picks up and delivers specimens, equipment, meal trays, blood products and stat pharmacy orders

• Answers telephone, takes and relays messages, and sorts and files reports

• ▪Answers patient call lights, takes patient vital signs and assists with patient hygiene as directed by an RN

What the Surgical Technologist Will Need :

• Minimum Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program

• Preferred Associate of Applied Science Surgical Technology.

• Certification or re-certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) within one month of hire.

• NBSTA Surgical Technologist certification within 1 year of hire.

• Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.

• Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.

• 36 hours per week
