The Surface Mount Operator is responsible for surface mount manufacturing using automated equipment. The SMT Operator uses surface mount technology to assemble circuit boards according to customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operates Surface Mount machines by changing out part reels, putting on feeders, lining up fiducials
Assists Surface Mount Set-Up Operators
Completes changeover tasks
Job Requirements
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum 6 months Surface Mount experience
Manufacturing experience, preferred
Electronics assembly experience, preferred
MyData experience, preferred
Machine Operations experience, preferred
Strong attention to detail and quality
Demonstrated strong mechanical aptitude
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to bend and lift up to 30 lbs
