Wolverine Building Group is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Commercial Construction/Healthcare/Office/Community team in our Grand Rapids, Michigan office. In this position, you'll organize highly complex activities for the successful design, development, implementation, and completion of healthcare and commercial construction projects.
You will:
- Lead and manage preconstruction, including liens and lien laws, entitlements, permitting, building envelope impacts/risks, conceptual estimating, value engineering, pre-bid coordination, bidding process, and post-bid coordination. This includes developing work scopes, bid scopes, bids, and buyouts, and coordinating contracts, subcontracts, and trades.
- Manage complex relationships (owner/client, architect, subcontractors, consultants, superintendents) in order to generate repeat work and manage client relationships.
- Lead project processes and meetings from conception to completion, including project kick-off, site-specific safety plan, progress meetings, owner/architect/contractor meetings, subcontractor meetings, mobilization, exit strategy, punch-list, and closeout.
- Develop master schedules for complex healthcare and commercial projects, including phasing and sequencing, 3-week lookahead schedules, addenda/bulletin changes, change orders, scopes of work, and RFI submittals.
- Develop and maintain accurate and updated project health dashboards, including estimates, schedule control, contract details, subcontractor status, invoices, and cost summary.
