Your role as a Secondary Market Specialist

As a Secondary Market Specialist at Mercantile Bank in the Mortgage Department, you will play a pivotal role in managing rate locks for clients and investors while ensuring accurate fees and adjustments to maintain competitive interest rates. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the pricing engine, managing investor documentation, populating loan sale data, and collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and timely file delivery. You will be the go-to person for updating rates, producing daily reports, processing rate lock requests, researching pricing issues, and conducting competitor pricing research to keep our rates appealing.
