Corewell Health Psychotherapist - Transitional Age Clinic - Grand Rapids, MI in Grand Rapids, Michigan

The Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine department is seeking an LMSW/LPC to join our Psychotherapist team. The Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine department is a multi-disciplinary practice comprised of Psychiatrists, APP’s (PA-C and NP), Psychologists and Social Workers, and has a collaborative approach to care. We have offices throughout West Michigan, and offer a hybrid model of on-site visits and virtual.

Our Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine department is looking for a Psychotherapist to provide services to patients primarily focusing on ages between the ages of 15-25, including performing diagnostic examinations of the patient’s psychosocial functioning and adjustments to their medical and/or psychiatric illness, developing treatment plans and goals consistent with the needs of the patient, utilizing evidence based treatment modalities in a manner which meets the standards of the profession and changing needs of the patient, documenting plans, interventions and the patient’s response/involvement according to standards, and participating in ongoing quality monitoring and process improvement activities. The Psychotherapist will demonstrate teamwork and integrity in all work related activities and ensure that work performed supports Spectrum Health’s mission of Superior Quality Care.

Qualifications:

  • License – LMSW or LPC

  • Experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples/families, and/or groups.
