This position assists the Product Development Manager in the design & development of assigned brands.

Position follows hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Own the Design and Product Development of HOME TEXTILES (bedding, bath, living room and kitchen for specified brands. In close partnership with PD Manager, merchant, and sourcing counterparts, you’ll drive a cohesive brand vision ensuring that products meet assortment strategies, price points and overall creative direction.

  • Lead research and design for home textiles products.

  • Review and comment on lab dips, and all strike-offs and hand-looms for layout and execution.

  • Create seasonal color palettes and presentation materials for milestone meetings.

  • Create original artwork for home textiles products (beach, bedding, bath, living room and kitchen)

  • Re-color existing artwork, create colorways, adjust scale for different home textiles product.

  • Active participant in product packaging needs and product attributes.

  • Sketch designs in Illustrator (flats) and communicate construction details to Tech Design and Sourcing counterparts.

  • Responsible for all the creation and maintenance of PLM packages and CAD Assortment Line Sheets.

  • Lead in Sample Reviews for specified Own Brand.

  • Lead communication to all cross-functional partners in a timely manner.

What You'll Bring With You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education).

  • 5-7 years of experience in Apparel Fashion Design or Apparel Product Development.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

  • Keen eye for color, trend, detail and construction.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze, interpret & apply market/ trend info.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

  • Basic industry knowledge of design, garment construction and textiles.
