Corewell Health Physician, Pediatric Pulmonologist - PRN/Casual - Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pediatric Pulmonology and Sleep Medicine at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, a state-of-the-art, globally integrated, 234-bed free standing children’s hospital is an incredible place to work. You will enjoy taking care of children with all types of pulmonary and/or sleep concerns. Our new partner will join the innovative and creative minds in the practice generating ideas to improve the care of children in West Michigan.

The group seeks a board certified or board eligible Pediatric Pulmonologist. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills to provide high quality patient care, academic and research interest to fully participate in the education of our medical students and residents, and will collaborate with the multidisciplinary staff. This position will provide outpatient clinical pulmonary services, and assist with inpatient pulmonary consultative services and shared call with other members of the division.

  • Fully accredited Adult and Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Care Center - Therapeutic Development Network designation

  • Sleep Disorders Center - AASM accredited, 14 pediatric sleep beds

  • Pulmonary Function lab

  • Basic science research program in collaboration with Michigan State University

  • Fellowship Program

Qualifications

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics and in Pediatric Pulmonology

  • Michigan License

  • Expertise and commitment to provide high quality clinical care

  • Skills and commitment to provide a quality educational experience for residents and medical students

  • Track record of success or prepared to engage in scholarly activities that include residents and medical students
