Kendrick Plastics Payroll Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for our employees and ensuring that all payroll-related tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for all hourly employees
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
  • Calculate and process employee deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
  • Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations
  • Responsible for other administrative duties including attendance points, etc.
  • Assist with other HR-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll administration in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
