Kendrick Plastics Payroll Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing weekly payroll for our employees and ensuring that all payroll-related tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all hourly employees
- Ensure accuracy of payroll data and resolve any discrepancies
- Calculate and process employee deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments
- Maintain accurate records of employee payroll information
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations
- Responsible for other administrative duties including attendance points, etc.
- Assist with other HR-related tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in payroll administration in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
