Aerotek Painter in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Job Description

Join our team as a Painter on the 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 3:00 am. Pay will start at $18/hr.

  • Your primary responsibilities will include painting I-beams and other structural metal components used for bridges and construction sites.

  • The focus is on achieving even coverage of paint.

  • Moreover, you will operate an overhead crane to move, load, and unload steel beams, as well as handle the grinding of steel beams to prepare them for painting.

Hard Skills

  • Spray gun experience

  • Overhead crane operation

  • Grinding

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Our work setting is a blend of production and construction environments within a structural steel company.

We provide extensive personal protective equipment including hard hats, safety goggles, and respirators when necessary, although steel-toe footwear is required.

Safety is our top priority, given the high risks involved.

Despite the serious nature of the work, our team maintains a light-hearted and friendly atmosphere.
