About Lemmen Holton Cancer Center
We treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care, bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in any type of cancer.
Scope of work
The manager of medical physics will support the daily operations of our Corewell Health West fleet of 6 linear accelerators across 3 locations (Grand Rapids, Reed City & Holland) as well as HDR and LDR brachytherapy, linac based SRS and other special procedures. The Physics team is currently staffed by 6 physicists and 10 dosimetrists. All 3 sites utilize Varian TrueBeam linacs with Aria and Eclipse for treatment planning.

Qualifications
Master's Degree Radiological or Medical Physics Required.
PhD Medical Physics Preferred.
5 years of relevant experience in radiation oncology, including machine calibrations and radiation oncology treatment planning and dose calculations Required.
CRT-Medical Physics - ABR American Board of Radiology Radiation OncologyUpon Hire required Or
CRT-Medical Physics - ABMP American Board of Medical Physics Radiation Oncology Upon Hire Required.
