Maintenance Repair Technician, Grand Rapids MI

Job Description

Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM). The pay range is $25-30+/hour, based on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity.

• This person will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance tasks on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment as assigned.

• Perform unscheduled maintenance on CNC mills, lathes, and other equipment to minimize machine downtime, including assisting in the diagnosis of equipment issues.

• Perform facility maintenance.

• Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.

• Perform data collection and communication tasks in JobBoss and other applications.

• Safely operate a forklift to move equipment and material within the facility.

• Perform all tasks and maintain workstations to 5S organization and housekeeping standards.

• Comply with company policy and procedures.

Work Environment

This is a job shop machining center for the Aerospace industry. The runs will be anywhere from 20-70 pieces. The parts are very complex and need to be within very close tolerances.
