Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Maintenance Diesel Technicians for projects located in Grand Rapids, MI . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
chassis component repair and maintenance
Multiple and steerable lift axles
USDOT inspections
Refuse bodies including; air and electric controls, air and hydraulic braking systems
Engine repair and after treatment maintenance
Suspension drive-train and steering systems
Heating and air conditioning systems
Yard equipment service and repair
Assist in coordinating daily ship operations and ensuring timely completion of repair tasks
Perform computer repair diagnostics to determine root cause of issues
Identifies the source of malfunctions using a variety of electronic tools
Requirements
Must have a valid drivers license
Minimum of 3+ years experience in maintenance
Valid CDL is a plus
Fabrication experience is a plus
Trade school or diesel industry experience is a plus
Must be able to work effectively with team members at all levels
