Position: MIG/TIG Light Metal Welder

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM – 4 PM

Role Overview: Seeking a skilled MIG/TIG Light Metal Welder with experience in light metal work and fabrication. Join our dynamic team where versatility and a willingness to assist in various departments are key. This role is vital to our production process, as you will be working on a variety of tasks, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks with precision and attention to detail.

• Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.

• Utilize tape measure skills to ensure accurate measurements and fabrication.

• Operate general fabrication equipment efficiently and safely.

• Conduct quality tracking and inspections to maintain high production standards.

• Assist with metal weaving, fulfillment, and general warehouse tasks as needed.

• Work collaboratively with a tech school graduate team and other departments.

• Follow all safety protocols and utilize provided PPE and welding equipment.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experienced in MIG welding techniques.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

• Strong tape measure skills for accurate measurement.

• Ability to run general fabrication equipment.

• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Be flexible and willing to assist in machine set up and other departments when required.

• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.

• Report any equipment or quality issues to management promptly.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.

• Complete daily production logs and reports as required.
