Testing Required: Hybrid Role:  Must be able to come on-site periodically and reside a commutable distance from the assigned work location. Emergency Response: Yes - Must be available to perform a primary assignment in support of DTE's emergency response to storms or other events that impact service to our customers.

Job Summary

Completes execution of field requirements in the transmission pipeline integrity management program, including in-line inspection (ILI), direct assessment (DA), and pipeline construction. Works closely with project engineer and team and implements field activities requested by the team. Serves as primary point of contact in the field for outside contractors and works with internal and external resources as directed. Provides administrative support related to projects. Span of control: 0; individual contributor.

Key Accountabilities

*Works closely with engineering team to support field activities, including pig trap procedures, inspection vehicle marker/above ground marker (IVM/AGM) placement and layout, temporary separation piping facilities, and all pigging operations *Schedules and provides support to contractors, including environmental decontamination, pigging support, tracking, radiography, and inspection for pigging and/or construction work *Receives and submits field paperwork, including invoices, purchase requisitions, and unbilled liabilities (UBL's) *Maintains inventory of cleaning pigs and auxiliary equipment required for pigging operations and recommends repair or replacement as necessary *Generates ILI dig plans from ILI vendor reports using standard template with input from project engineer *Assists with field activities related to remediation, including staking, landowner contacts, environmental permits, and scheduling with operations, gas control, engineering, inspection, and corrosion control groups *Assists with the acquisition of permits, including from Michigan Department of Environmental Quality/Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (MDEQ/EGLE), and soil erosion/soil control (SESC)

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

This is a dual-track base requirement job; education and experience requirements can be satisfied through one of the following two options: *High School diploma or equivalent with four years of field or station experience in gas transmission; OR *Associate degree with two years of field or station experience in gas transmission

Other Qualifications

Preferred *Bachelor's degree *Workload planning experience *Previous knowledge of ILI pigging operations

Other Requirements *Knowledge of underground construction practices *Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) *Maintains Operator Qualification for specified tasks required during integrity operations *Adheres to health and safety requirements *Ability to support frequent travel
