Stiles Machinery Graphic Designer in Grand Rapids, Michigan
We are looking for a creative, detail oriented, organized, and enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team and champion the Stiles Machinery brand. As a key role in the marketing department, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for all aspects of graphics development, including creative concept, editing and project coordination. This role is a mix of creative work and project coordination, ensuring brand consistency is maintained.
Oversee the ideation and design/creation of all graphic projects across the organization. This includes things like product brochures, social graphics, event flyers, web graphics, presentations, print and digital advertisements, email templates and more.
Create project plans and schedules to ensure deadlines are met. This includes allocating appropriate resources to each project to ensure it stays within budget.
Manage annual print and graphic budget in coordination with overall marketing budget.
Provide production coordination for marketing promotion and communication projects with internal stakeholders, vendors, freelance designers, developers and print service groups
Communicate with internal/external teams, regarding project deliverables and details, accumulating needed information to complete projects
Present finalized ideas and concepts to internal stakeholders
Continually monitor and report project progress to all stakeholders and marketing manager
Proofread to produce accurate, consistent and high-quality work
Keep records of the key aspects of projects
Oversee print production and vendor coordination
Write, edit, design and proof content on a variety of projects and plans, as assigned
Monitor the design of social graphics, develop e-mail newsletters, brochures, signs and other print materials
Coordinate photography and video production for corporate purposes
Participate in promotional activities as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience. Must have 3-5 years as an independent contractor, an agency or an in-house department. Experience in the B2B marketing field is preferred.

Microsoft Office Suite
Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom
Exceptional communication, organizational and writing skills
Experience working with third-party vendors and printing companies
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working with deadlines
Ability to think creatively and bring innovative solutions to marketing challenges
Familiarity with marketing tactics, creative development and modern marketing and design technology
Ambitious, easy to work with, good sense of humor and positive attitude
Photography and/or videography skills a plus but not required
