Position follows hybrid schedule: Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday-Friday remote.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Reports directly to Fabric & Color manager. Work with Product Development& Design teams to create consistent product and textile end use color specifications.

  • Communicate color needs, issues, changes, and opportunities in a timely manner to the vendors and overseas offices.

  • Have a clear understanding of standardized lighting conditions, the proper terminology used to communicate color, and color communication software.

  • Participate in tech pack process concentrating on color matching and color execution.

  • Maintain organized record keeping of all color lab dip and fabric submit information between Meijer and agents/suppliers.

  • Support Fabric and Color Manager by entering and maintaining fabric development charts and raw material updates in PLM.

  • Assist in maintaining fabric and trim library. Manage receipt of new fabric selections and file accordingly.

  • Assist manager with special sourcing projects across all fabric & color initiatives.

What You Bring With You (Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree, or 3-5 years’ work experience.

  • Experience in color approval preferred.

  • Knowledge of textiles/apparel preferred.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Positive, high-energy with ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work across all divisions and levels of the organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously on key deliverables.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint.

  • Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems a plus.

  • Proven ability to independently problem solve, analyze, and assess.
