Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician

Job Description

This is a 1st shift Electrical Assembly Position working in the new wiring department. The working hours are Monday through Thursday, with potential overtime on Friday and Saturday, determined on Wednesday morning. Employees can take 4 days off in July and the rest of their vacation in the first or second week of August.

Responsibilities include setting up jobs for the day, assembling panel boxes, switchboards, and wiring, and preparing components for building. You will work within a large, clean, and quiet manufacturing facility, assembling solar panel power boxes and switchboards. Duties involve pulling and spooling wire, reading prints to determine assembly parts placement, and working as a team on a non-automated assembly line. You'll use hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches to screw in components and strip wires into metal plates. The goal is to assemble 64 panels per day after training.

Work Environment

Clean facility, manual labor involving lifting up to 40 lbs, working as a team on the assembly line and during wire spooling. Super casual environment with required attire of shirts with sleeves (short or long), shorts or pants without holes, and steel toe boots. You can wear one earbud while working. Safety glasses and gloves are provided if needed. The facility is equipped with fans, is non-temperature controlled, and consists of small teams of roughly 4-6 persons.
