Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Reporting Analyst in Grand Rapids, Michigan. You will be part of a team that operates within the legal industry, using your skills to develop, enhance and validate reports, and work with multiple databases and data warehouses.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance reports using SQL, Power BI, and other relevant tools.

• Extract and analyze data from multiple databases and data warehouses, ensuring accurate and reliable reports.

• Collaborate with the accounting department in verifying the correctness of data.

• Create new reports that provide valuable insights and aid in decision making.

• Validate existing reports for accuracy and relevance.

• Use tools like Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects Technologies, and Erwin Data for various tasks.

• Create dashboards to visually represent data and insights.

• Leverage your skills in Agile Scrum, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Requirement Document.

• Create a bridge to extrapolate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and reliability.

• Utilize your knowledge in Database Administration and Data Warehousing to maintain and manage data effectively.

Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, BusinessObjects Technologies, Database, and EO/IR systems.

• Experience with Erwin Data, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, and Business Intelligence (BI).

• Ability to prepare Business Requirement Document and Create Dashboards.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Report Creation.

• Familiarity with Computer Databases, Cloud databases, Database Administration, and Data Warehousing.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex data.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Data Reporting Analyst or similar role.
