We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. Network 180's Behavioral Health Crisis Center is a 24/7 facility that serves adults 18 years and older and includes a walk-in Brief Intervention Clinic and a secure Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). The setting provides assessment and unscheduled clinical services designed to prevent or resolve mental health or substance-related crises. The Crisis Center aims to provide these services to individuals whose crisis will typically resolve within a few hours, however, may require up to seventy-two (72) hours of treatment; and where services can be voluntary or involuntary.
The CSU fills a key gap in the Kent County Crisis Continuum of Care and will provide more efficient, effective, equitable crisis behavioral health care in a setting designed and staffed to provide this type of treatment.
The CSU also aims to divert individuals from jail, emergency departments, and inpatient psychiatric hospital settings to an appropriate least restrictive treatment setting whenever it can be achieved safely and successfully.
We are seeking a *Crisis Center Clinician per Diem to work as needed. *This role provides crisis intervention, assessments, therapy, and referral services for adults presenting to the Crisis Center, which includes a Brief Intervention Clinic and a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). Activities may take place in a variety of settings and via face-to-face contact or telehealth (video or telephonic).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or Counseling Psychology.

``` - Certification or Licensure in the State of Michigan as a Limited Licensed Master Social Worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or psychologist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire. - Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
