Job Description

Seeking a skilled CNC machinist in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing facility. This is a job shop machining center that produces 20-70 pieces per project. Parts are complex and within tight tolerances.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate 3 or 5 Axis CNC mills or lathes to produce the required number of parts in a timely manner according to customer specifications.

• Correctly set up jobs on assigned machines, which involves tool changes.

• Perform first piece, in-process, and last piece inspection using micrometers, calipers, comparators, various gauges, and CMM equipment.

• Perform data collection and communication tasks in Job Boss and other applications.

• Diagnose and correct equipment or tool issues.

• Read and interpret blueprints for set ups and jobs.

Skills/Qualifications: Machinist Experience, Mill, Lathe, Tool Changes, Blueprints, Robotics, 3-axis, 5-axis, Operation

• +3 years of machining experience

• XYZ axis experience

• Experience setting up and operating CNC mills or lathes

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Available Shifts:

• B-Shift 7:30pm - 6:00am Monday - Thursday

Pay:

• $20.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience

• $1.00 shift premium included
