Civil Transportation Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Civil Transportation Engineer specializing in roadway design and engineering. You will be joining a multidisciplinary team of engineers and will work on a variety of municipal and roadway projects, including geometric design, traffic design and staging plans, construction plans, specifications, and bid documents following DOT and local municipalities agency standards. You will also handle utility coordination and relocation, along with storm water drainage design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roadway design

• Drainage design

• Calculations

• Preparation of construction documents and plans

Software Knowledge of at least one of the following:

• MicroStation

• InRoads

• AutoTurn

• Civil 3D

• Roundabout

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan and some days remote.
