Summary of Position:
Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University (KCAD) in Grand Rapids, MI prepares artists and designers to have impact through practice. KCAD has dual enrollment partnerships with many high schools throughout Michigan. These high schools offer students the opportunity to take KCAD classes for KCAD college credit. The classes are taught in the high school or in another site in the high school area. Responsibilities for a KCAD adjunct faculty member, for the High School Dual Enrollment program, include syllabus and class preparation, instruction during scheduled course time, providing reasonable availability to students for consultation and assistance with respect to assigned course(s), evaluation of student performance, and communication with KCAD regarding course outcomes and expectations.
