Robert Half is working with a telecom services industry, for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a long-term contract employment opportunity. This role is central to our operations, responsible for the efficient handling of vendor invoices, maintenance of financial records, and providing support to our accounting and finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process vendor invoices with high accuracy.

• Provide support to the finance team, assisting in areas such as budgeting and cash flow management.

• Maintain and regularly update financial records to ensure accuracy.

• Manage and perform credit card reconciliations.

• Assist in conducting financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status in a timely manner.

• Utilize accounting software for data entry and invoice processing.

• Use Excel and Great Plains Accounting for various accounting tasks, including account reconciliation and check runs.

• Apply coding invoices skills to properly classify expenses.

Requirements • Demonstrates strong skills in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely financial records.

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP), with the ability to manage financial obligations effectively.

• Experience in Check Runs, ensuring all payments are made in a timely manner.

• Capable of Coding Invoices, categorizing financial documents correctly for easy referencing.

• Solid skills in Data Entry, inputting financial data accurately and efficiently.

• Expertise in Invoice Processing, ensuring all bills are paid on time and correctly.

• Proficient in Excel, to manage and analyze financial data effectively.

• Experience with Great Plains Accounting software, for efficient handling of financial records.
