Opportunity Group, Inc. Controls Technician in Grand Rapids MI, Michigan
Seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to install and troubleshoot PLC's and HMI's and learn PLC programming and design. Layout, design, build, wire, install, program and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit and other electrical components. Wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious hands-on type person who wants a long-term career as a Controls Engineer. Requirements:
At least two years of experience troubleshooting and modifying PLC's and HMI's.
At least two years of experience wiring machines.
Able to reading and interpret schematics and blue prints.
Familiar with electrical codes and standards.
Able to travel 20%.
Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
