Aerotek Warehouse Packaging Operator in Grand Prairie, Texas

Packaging Operator/ Production Worker

$17.25 - $18.25/hr depending on shift

Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd available

Job Description

  • We are currently searching for Packaging Operators to be based out of Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Shift Lead Production Supervisor, this person will package finished PVC pipe in proper crate quantities for shipment.

  • Perform inspections of product for proper print line and quality specifications

  • Package finished pipe in proper crate quantities

  • Conduct maintenance and cleanup for production and storage areas

  • Follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes, gloves)

Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections of product for proper print line and quality specifications

  • Follow plant safety rules and wear proper PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel-toe shoes, gloves)

  • Prioritize tasks and anticipate needs to manage time effectively

  • Maintain housekeeping in assigned area

  • Perform all other assigned duties

Pay/Shift

  • 1st Shift 6:45AM-3PM

  • 2nd Shift- 2:45PM-11PM

  • 3rd Shift 10:45AM-7AM

  • Pay is $17.25/hr +$1 for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Requirements

  • Experience in packaging, production, or general labor

  • Material handling skills

  • Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing and assembly

  • Skills in loading and order picking

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.25
