Lockheed Martin Shipping/Receiving B-Forklift Operations/Fabrication in Grand Prairie, Texas

Description: Receive incoming materials such as but not limited to, raw stock, assemblies, parts, building materials, equipment, etc. Verify quantity and material per packing sheet or invoice, process goods receipt in MRP System, and route packages/materials to destinations. May be able to obtain a forklift certification. Perform a variety of clerical duties associated with shipping and receiving of material. Perform related shipping responsibilities utilizing the applicable Shipping software and systems. Prepare a variety of labels, shipping documents, letters, receipts, requisitions, reports, AVO’s, bills of lading, etc. Maintain the Shipping Department’s record keeping system, including but not limited to, DD250, DD1149, DD1907, BOLs, corrected paperwork, shipping logs, hazmat documents, etc. Must have general knowledge of Shipping and Traffic operations, focusing on carrier requirements, shipments of classified items, hazardous materials shipping, international shipping, and DoD/customer deliveries. Perform related receiving duties required to process documentation for goods received. Must be able to demonstrate general knowledge of receiving processes, review and process Foreign Goods Receipts Slips (FGRS) and have a general knowledge of the purchasing process. Maintain files of vendor packing sheets, processed Goods Receipt Slips (GRS), Discrepancy Reports, Request for Shipment (RFS) and all other memos/written documentation as directed. Act as the liaison between both internal and external customers, such as Vendors, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Quality Inspectors and Hardware Representatives in the investigation/resolution of discrepancies and all other receiving issues in order to process GRS. Must be able to learn and demonstrate knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office programs, and other related software programs. Must be proficient in typing and filing. Assist with the duties of Shipping/Receiving “A” personnel as required and directed. Must be able to obtain and maintain a “Secret” security clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

High school degree or equivalent.

Six to twelve months of shipping and receiving experience.

Must have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills:

Prior forklift experience.

Prior wood and container fabrication experience.

Current forklift certification.

Material handling equipment operation experience.

SAP or other enterprise software systems experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Excellent people skills in dealing with customers.

Experience with hazardous materials.

Experience building and assembling containers and packaging to protect parts.

Experience with logistical systems and databases.

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
