Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment. This role involves maintaining loaders, shears, grapple, skid steers, forklifts, tractor/trailers, and performing daily preventive maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.

• Perform daily preventive maintenance on equipment.

• Execute physical duties associated with operations and maintenance.

• Keep necessary paperwork pertinent to assigned duties.

• Comply with dress code and proper PPE requirements at all times.

• Prepare documentation such as Bill of Ladings, Work Orders, Purchase Orders, and Tool Orders.

• Work with conveyor systems, hydraulic systems, and PLCs.

• Perform welding, torch cutting, grinding, and weld set-up.

• Set up and break down machinery.

• Assist operations by occasionally operating balers and heavy equipment such as skid steers, front loaders, and forklifts.

• Make decisions, solve problems, and handle high-stress situations calmly and safely.

• Work independently in the absence of direct supervision.

• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.

Essential Skills

• Electrical troubleshooting

• PLC troubleshooting and control

• Welding and grinding

• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

• Experience with industrial maintenance

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
