Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Currently seeking Multi-Craft Technicians. We are looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and experienced maintenance technician to work and grow within the maintenance team. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical aptitude and preferably possess 8-10 years of direct industrial and electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. The role requires both excellent mechanical skills and knowledge (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication) and electrical/electronic skills and knowledge (PLC's, A/C, D/C motors and drives AC/DC controls, and schematics) for our continuous process manufacturing environment to achieve machine preventative maintenance processes in assigned areas. Responsibilities include maintaining production equipment, following all safety rules and practices, performing preventive maintenance activities, performing emergency/breakdown maintenance, and accurately using measurement and test equipment. Additional tasks include performing repairs and installations, installing wire and conduit, replacing faulty electrical components, diagnosing and repairing/replacing faulty electronic components, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. The technician will also read electrical block diagrams and schematics, maintain clean and organized work areas, be available for various shifts and overtime, and prepare and maintain maintenance records accurately.

Hard Skills

  • Mechanical skills (pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, power transmission, lubrication)

  • Preventive maintenance activities

  • Measurement and test equipment

  • Electrical and mechanical repairs

  • Reading electrical block diagrams and schematics

  • Basic hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and computers

  • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (preferred)

  • Manufacturing Maintenance Experience

  • PLC Controls

  • AC/DC Motor Controls

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Grand Prairie, Texas.

Work Environment

Industrial manufacturing setting, non-climate controlled. Currently 6 Maintenance Techs on a 24/7 schedule. These new hires will be the electrical experts on the team.
