How will you make an impact?
Incoming Quality Control Senior Technician performs wet chemical analyses and inspections on production commodities and raw materials following established methods and SOPs in accordance to cGMPs.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong communication and laboratory skills to coordinate and execute planned and systematic activities implemented in a quality system so that quality requirements for products, processes, systems or equipment will be fulfilled.
What will you do?
Perform wet chemical analyses based on both internal and Compendia (USP, EP, ACS, etc) based methodologies.
Work with instruments such as FTIR, UV vis spectrophotometer, Polarimeter, pH meter, Auto titrator.
Assess and prioritize workload daily.
Demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy; in dealing with internal and external customers.
Work with various computer based software such as LIMS system, Agile, SmartSheet, Microsoft Excel and Word.
How will you get here?
AAS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Sciences
1-2 years of wet chemistry lab work and safety protocols.
Proficient oral and written communication skills are required to be effective in this role.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Ability to work in a high paced team environment, prioritize work accordingly.
General computer skills, specifically in Microsoft office programs.
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):
Bachelors' degree in Science related studies
3+ years of Chemistry lab experience.
Ability to work independently and in a group setting with little direction.
