The Supervisor – Clinic Nursing assists the Clinic Administrator/Practice Manager with general supervison, direction, and support of the daily operations of the clinic in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards. In the absence of the manager, the supervisor has oversight of clinic operations
Responsibilities

Works with individual clinic management and medical staff, to evaluate, monitor and enforce clinic specific protocols, procedures and objectives; maintains compliance with federal/state regulations and standards.
Ensures charging/reimbursement changes are integrated into every level of clinic operations by coordinating with the clinic team.
Serves as the point of contact for patient and external customer complaints. Investigates and reconciles complaints relating to practice operations.
Monitors the payroll system to help control employee time management.
Monitors utilization of staff and supplies in assigned areas, and recommends appropriate adjustments to stay within budget guidelines while constantly improving the quality of health care.
Monitors compliance with policies, implements plans and recommends revisions as needed.
Monitors and maintains licensure certification requirements for assigned staff.
Supervises the day to day operations in the absence of the manager.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 1 year experience in the discipline
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Leadership experience is preferred
Specialized or technical training from a college or technical school for coding, medical assistant or coding certification preferred.
Abilitiy to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to common inquiries or complaints from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Navigation, database management, desktop publishing, spreadsheet and graphic presentation packages.
Pay Range
$30.47 - $44.19 /hour
