The Lead Runner is a critical role in assuring excellence in organization, teamwork and timing related to organizing and delivery food drops to table. They demonstrate excellent communication skills with the expediting Sous Chef, culinary team members, Service Managers and staff. As a Lead Runner, they are also expert in vital support roles encompassing setting up the dining room, setting tables, clearing tables, pouring water, running food, working with servers and expediters, resetting the dining room, polishing glassware and various other tasks that support service at the restaurant.
