Role Overview

Sodexo has an opportunity for a Food Operations Manager 3 at Grambling State University in Grambling, LA . Our successful candidate will direct daily operations, including a 24/7 Resident dining hall. Candidates must be flexible and able to work all hours and be available to hire and mentor front-line teams. This role will be responsible for driving employee engagement as well as ensuring all staffing levels are met.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively

• Have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance

• Can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;

• Prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degreeor equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 yearswork experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
