Inspire Maintenance in Goshen, New York
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining buildings and grounds that provide clean, safe, efficient, and attractive locations for the work of Inspire across all Inspire sites.This is a full-time position with duties across Inspire locations in Orange County. Typical assignment will be a standard daytime shift but flexibility in hours, second shift coverage, and on-call hours may be required at times.Responsibilities:Maintain buildings including general and preventative maintenance, painting, and minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs.Maintain accessibility and safety of properties including grounds and playground maintenance, walkway access, and snow removal.Maintain agency vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe operating conditions, making minor repairs and addressing preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.Provide support for Department and Agency activities by transporting materials, handling interoffice and postal mail, replacing or relocating equipment, loading/unloading deliveries, storing supplies, and providing set-up for special use of buildings.Provide security checks and oversight of buildings and grounds, including response to alarms (burglar and fire).Provide custodial support of cleaning and floor maintenance as may be needed.Requirements:HS Diploma, GED or equivalentAbility to drive and access to a vehicle.
