Seeking an Engineering Manager to manage manufacturing, tooling, and maintenance in an automotive parts manufacturing facility in Smith County, TN (Outside of Nashville). The Engineering Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of maintenance, tooling, and engineering throughout the manufacturing facility.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or experience in managing tooling department, maintenance teams, and manufacturing engineering (continuous improvement).

• 3 + Years experience in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

• Tooling experience, especially Press/Dye machinery

• Proficiency with CAD tools.

• Proven Leadership and management skills.

• Analytical problem-solving abilities.

responsibilities:

• Oversees and improves the manufacturing process and equipment including presses and assembly machinery for exhaust manifold gaskets

• Oversees Tooling Department

• Keeping production running through preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery, PLC programming, and electrical knowledge is a huge plus.

• Leads and develops program/project timelines and maintains them through successful launch.
