A burgeoning, innovative Manufacturing company is on the hunt for an Accounting Manager to take charge of daily operations, such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. What you get to do every day

• Organize a variety of technical accounting analyses, procedures, and policies

• Work alongside FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook

• Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes

• Periodically review and inspect the balance sheets and income statement accounts of Senior Accountants

• Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration

• Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met

• Command sufficient knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience

• 2+ years of recent relevant financial experience

• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable

• Solid technology and analytical abilities

• Cost of product development experience desired

• Project accounting experience required

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• CPA/MBA preferred
