Job Description Sports Marketing Project Manager 4730 N Service Dr, Winona, MN 55987 HEADP Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm OVERVIEW: Working as the Sports Full-time Marketing Project Manager, you will work on the Sports Marketing team helping to successfully execute sports marketing plans and events. This includes coordinating and attending customer hospitality events and executing sports program deliverables. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: o Collaborating with marketing strategists and sales teams to understand business goals and objectives o Coordinating and traveling to sports marketing events o Managing the execution of the developed marketing strategy, including ordering and shipping merchandise for events o Utilizing critical thinking skills to prioritize and direct marketing projects o Remaining organized to keep all projects on task, on time and on budget o Orchestrating the collaboration of other department team members to execute projects, including communicating with sales leadership and customers regarding events o Working closely with key suppliers to execute the sports marketing contract deliverables o Presenting and maintaining our brand messaging to internal and external audiences o Managing and scheduling internal and external communications across multiple channels REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: The following skills and qualifications are required for this position: o Possess or working towards a Business, Marketing or Mass Communication degree OR have at least 2 years of relevant work experience o Excellent written and oral communication skills o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite o Demonstrate strong understanding of current marketing concepts, strategy and best practices o Demonstrate a creative mindset with the desire to learn and implement new programs o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment o Work independently as well as in a team environment o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY) ABOUT US: Since 1967 Fastenal has grown as a distributor of industrial and construction supplies from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 servicing locations, each providing tailored local inventory and personal service for our customers.
