Systems Test Engineer

Job Description

This Systems Test Engineer will conduct Design Verification on Software and perform essential engineering duties in planning and designing products.

Responsibilities

• Perform software regression analysis.

• Create manual (majority manual) and automated test systems.

• Perform interface and requirements analysis.

• Work with software test tools, such as SQL, Python, Postman, etc.

• Create content for design reviews.

• Perform design verification tests.

• Write design verification protocols.

• Work with web and mobile products.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Design Verification Test (DVT) protocols and prepare test summary reports.

• Provide technical feedback and innovative ideas to the design engineering team from test findings to drive continuous improvement.

• Participate and contribute to technical design reviews and other activities throughout the design phase.

Essential Skills

• Experience performing software regression analysis.

• Experience creating manual and automated test systems.

• Ability to perform interface and requirements analysis.

• Experience with software test tools such as SQL, Python, Postman, etc.

• Experience creating content for design reviews.

• Experience performing design verification tests.

• Experience writing design verification protocols.

• Experience working with web and mobile products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent experience.

• Internship within the medical device industry preferred.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
