We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to join our team in Golden Valley, MN. This role involves leading the mechanical design, development, and optimization of Air and Comfort products while supervising a team of talented engineers.
Job Duties:
Lead and mentor a team of 2 Mechanical Engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
Oversee new product development (NPI) efforts, manufacturing support, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Spearhead the mechanical design and development of Air and Comfort products, ensuring they meet performance and quality requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Electrical Engineering, Sourcing, Project Management, Product Management, and Product Quality.
Work closely with electronics engineers to integrate Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) into mechanical enclosures for optimal performance and manufacturability.
Utilize Creo CAD software to develop robust designs, considering factors such as material selection, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency.
Lead the design and development of electronics enclosures and related products to ensure superior product performance.
You Must Have:
8+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience, with a focus on plastic and metal component design.
Proven leadership experience, including mentoring team members and resolving design challenges.
Demonstrated ability to review design mockups and provide constructive feedback to optimize solutions.

Demonstrated thought leadership and strategic guidance within engineering teams.
Expertise in mechanical engineering for product development, including electronics enclosures.
Strong knowledge of manufacturability techniques for components in confined spaces.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Creo or SolidWorks for 3D modeling and design.
Analytical problem-solving skills for troubleshooting mechanical issues and optimizing performance.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical concepts to stakeholders.
Experience directing teams to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
Ability to support engineering disciplines, project teams, and field services with technical guidance and design troubleshooting.
