POSITION SUMMARY The Program Management Director leads the cross functional teams and product owners responsible for delivering new products and solutions for Inspire's customers. This role executes on strategic priorities in an aligned, integrated manner across all functions to support company goals and pipeline in order to accelerate the development and commercial success of Inspire business. The Program Manager Director is in overall, end-to-end charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery. The position involves coordinating program teams, resource management, stakeholder and sponsor communications, reporting, and program financial management, and reporting and tracking business value to the Program Delivery Leadership Team (PDLT). RESPONSIBILITIES Build and manage cross functional teams delivering solutions to Inspire's customers and addressing business needs, primarily with innovative and impactful new products and services. Anticipate business, operational and market risks, track, and overcome to deliver great customer experiences. Design program execution plans to minimize execution risks while optimizing schedule, costs and stakeholder needs. Manage program risk and expectations by assessing requirements changes, business needs, execution plans, and determining / conveying impact on budget, time, and risk. Lead the team to define feature sets, business requirements, operational needs, quality requirements, measures of success, and roadmap for growth. Ensure all stakeholders are identified and included in scope definition activities and understand the program schedule and key milestones. Influence others to prioritize decisions and own trade-offs between customer needs, business requirements, and product capabilities. Create buy-in and commitment from those involved from cross functional teams. Manage products through their lifecycle to ensure they continue to meet and exceed customer and business needs. Assess feedback and address issues as needed. Coordinate the lifecycle of multiple products that make up the Inspire Commercial System and lead planning to successfully time launch planning of related products. Develop mechanisms for monitoring and reporting project progress and for intervention and problem solving with stakeholders and team members. Manage project documentation creating and/or overseeing creation of project deliverables following medical device QMS, FDA Design Controls and IEC 62304. Examples include program development plans, program charters and program schedule plans. QUALIFICATIONS Required Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience 5+ years of building, managing, and leading high-performing product development teams 10+ years of progressive experience in a similar role as a Product Development Project/Program Manager, Project/Pro ram Manager, and/or leading product development projects Demonstrated experience utilizing project management tracking/software tools and reporting deliverables. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership Preferred Qualifications: Advanced level degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline PMP/PMI and/or Agile certification Experience with blending Waterfall, Agile and other program management methodologies, roles, and responsibilities Experience with Medical Device Development and all related applicable standards Experience with Cloud development in Azure and/or AWS and App development in IOS & Android Experience developing project models using Monte Carlo simulation of tasks, timelines and budgets Experience with statistical analysis tools Medical device experience Inspire Medical Systems provides equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, status regarding public assistance, membership or activity in a local commission, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, and local laws.
